1、 Industrial heating and temperature control
1. Traditional industries
Chemical production: Provide stable heat sources in reaction vessels, distillation towers, and polymerization units to ensure precise temperature control of processes such as polymer synthesis (such as polyester and polyimide) and pharmaceutical intermediate reactions, avoiding quality risks caused by local overheating.
Petroleum processing: Heating crude oil to reduce viscosity and optimize transportation efficiency; Used for antifreeze of oilfield equipment and geothermal energy development, improving energy utilization efficiency.
Metallurgy and Building Materials: Provide high-temperature heat sources (up to 400 ℃) for steelmaking furnaces and glass kilns, or achieve low-temperature cooling (as low as -60 ℃) in cold rolling processes to meet the extreme temperature requirements of different metallurgical processes.
2. Light industry
Textile printing and dyeing: By uniformly heating with a hot air stove and dryer, the temperature fluctuation during the dyeing process is controlled within ± 2 ℃ to improve the color fastness and production efficiency of textiles.
Printing and packaging: Provide stable heat sources in gravure printing machines and composite film production lines to ensure rapid ink drying and uniform adhesion, avoiding an increase in defect rates.
2、 Livelihood and high-end manufacturing
1. Food and medicine
Food processing: achieving uniform heating in baking ovens and frying equipment (such as cookie baking temperature control ± 5 ℃), preserving the nutrition and flavor of ingredients; Low temperature dehydration in vacuum dryer to prevent damage to heat sensitive components.
Pharmaceutical and Medical: Constant temperature control of pharmaceutical reactors ensures the accuracy of synthesis reactions, and high-temperature conduction of sterilization equipment ensures drug safety; In the cooling system of medical imaging equipment (such as MRI), thermal oil quickly exports heat to maintain stable operation of the equipment.
2. In the field of new energy and environmental protection
Solar energy utilization: Absorb and focus solar energy in solar thermal power plants, transfer heat to steam generators for power generation, and increase efficiency by 15% compared to traditional media; In household solar water heaters, liquid heat transfer can still be maintained at low temperatures of -30 ℃, expanding the application range.
Waste heat recovery: The waste heat from the flue gas of coal-fired/gas-fired boilers is converted into process heat through a thermal oil system, reducing the energy consumption cost of enterprises and meeting the energy-saving needs under the "dual carbon" policy.
3、 Emerging Technologies and Special Scenarios
1. High end industry
Aerospace: In the cooling system of aircraft engines, it can withstand temperature differences ranging from -50 ℃ to 200 ℃ to ensure stable operation of the engine in extreme high-altitude environments; In the spacecraft temperature control system, thermal oil quickly balances the temperature of various components to avoid thermal stress damage.
Electronic appliances: In the heat dissipation module of high-power chips (such as server CPUs), thermal oil efficiently exports heat to prevent overheating and system crashes; The temperature control system of 5G base station equipment maintains signal stability in an environment of -40 ℃ to 60 ℃.
2. Automotive industry
Engine cooling: Assist antifreeze to regulate water temperature, prevent "boiling" or low temperature starting wear, and extend engine life; In the thermal management system of new energy vehicle batteries, the thermal oil quickly balances the temperature of the battery pack, improving endurance and safety.
4、 Selection of heat transfer oil
Different application scenarios require matching corresponding types of thermal oil:
High temperature and high pressure scenarios (such as chemical reaction vessels): Choose synthetic heat transfer oil (such as hydrogenated triphenylene), with a maximum temperature resistance of 340 ℃ and strong thermal stability.
Low temperature precision scenarios (such as food baking): Mineral based thermal oil has high cost-effectiveness, with a pour point as low as -30 ℃, meeting the requirements of stable heat transfer at medium temperatures.
High environmental requirements scenarios (such as pharmaceutical production): Prioritize bio based thermal oil, pass FDA certification, and avoid solvent residue risks.
